Keeaumoku Seafood
If you’re craving fresh seafood in Honolulu and want to skip the touristy spots, Keeaumoku Seafood is your low-key local gem. Tucked away on Keeaumoku Street—yep, that’s where the name comes from—this divey, casual joint keeps it real with solid poke bowls and a cozy neighborhood vibe. It’s one of those places that doesn’t try too hard because it doesn’t have to. The food speaks for itself.
Walk in and you’ll probably catch the scent of fresh ahi or sizzling salmon belly in the air. Locals know to go for the Poke Bowl—it’s piled high with fresh, flavorful fish, seasoned just right. Feeling extra hungry? The Salmon Belly Plate is a sleeper hit—crispy edges, melt-in-your-mouth texture, and packed with umami. If you’re into variety, the Sashimi Platter is a colorful spread that’s perfect for sharing (or not, no judgment here).
The place has a laid-back atmosphere with just enough buzz. Think moderate noise, families grabbing a bite after the beach, a couple of dogs chilling outside, and folks talking story over poke. It’s casual, it’s cool, and it totally works. Plus, the location at 1223 Keeaumoku St is easy to find if you’re cruising around the Ala Moana area.
Keeaumoku Seafood isn’t fancy, and that’s exactly why people love it. It’s comfort food, island-style—with generous portions, fair prices, and no pretenses. Whether you’re a sashimi fanatic or just looking for your next poke fix, this spot delivers the good stuff.

Absolutely LOVED the poke here. I only got the spicy ahi but it was so fresh. It's definitely at the top of my list when I come back to Oahu!!
After the koko head hike we decided to come here for lunch. It was a small parking lot with a few other restaurants. You walk through a door which was also pretty small but they don't take too long to help you. We ordered the salmon belly with double poke. We got the ahi tuna poke and I think it was the spicy tuna or something g like that. The food was hot and fresh as they cook it to order. We waited maybe almost 10 minutes which wasn't bad. The fish was yummy and fresh as was the poke which was so enjoyable. So glad we finally got to try this place out and it is a good bang for your buck.
Don't be fooled by the location and the exterior or interior, this is some of the best poke!! All the ladies working were so nice and helpful, excellent service. The poke bowls are very generous and so much flavor! We loved it and will be back for sure
Still my all time fav poke spot! I was craving this for a while and probably could eat this every day if I had the choice. It's fresh fish and their poke styles are unique. I thought about going with my usual "Super Bowl" with hamachi poke & hot masago poke but wanted to slightly switch it up so I got hamachi and spicy ahi poke instead. I debated about getting the sashimi and poke plate or their Hawaiian plate. But then decided, who am I kidding, I'm going to stick with what I usually get and it did not disappoint! The staff there always remember me and are nice and friendly to me. The parking is not really easily accessible and you have to back up onto the main road if you don't reverse into the stall. Luckily no cars were coming so I was able to reverse into the stall. I would highly recommend this place if you haven't already been here. Reasonable prices, friendly staff and good quality fish!
This place was on my radar for sometime now, just never got around to popping in. That ended today as got the Salmon Belly & Oyster Sauce Poke Plate for mommy and Ahi Belly & Hamachi Sashimi Plate. We were pleasantly surprised and both over the moon for our plates. The fried ahi and salmon belly had a nice crunchy outside and a moist and soft center. The poke was fresh and mommy said one of the best she had had in a while. The Hamachi Sashimi was buuuuttttaaahhhhhh!!! The server was polite and food came out as quick as the ahi and salmon belly were cooked to order. The actual place is your typical hole in the wall, nothing much to see but great food :-). The prices are also pretty good considering the fresh fish. We will definitely be back.
